These various roles have offered the opportunity to shape his personal therapy approach from real time work and he is now also training others in working therapeutically.

“Entering in to a therapy agreement can be a time of various emotions. Some initial information prior to our first session can help to get things flowing and create a space where building a healthy healing relationship. For those unfamiliar with therapy or counselling I am happy to book in a shorter check in to discuss the process and see what works for you.

After this the first formal session tends to act like building the foundations of a house. It may look slight different for each person given the unique experiences everyone brings. However at its core it creates a safe secure space to move forwards in a way which works best for you.”

Over the years my practice has become attuned to working with attachment and trauma(s). There is a huge range of different therapeutic interventions available. The most common factor in successfully making use of the space is feeling safe and contained within the relationship that is created.
